What DGK Home Solutions Does
DGK Home Solutions handles the full exterior of your home. We started in Fairfield, Ohio and now serve homeowners and property owners across Butler County, Hamilton County, Warren County, and Southeast Indiana. Every project is run by the same crew that quotes it — you talk to the person doing the work, not a call center.
We focus on three services because we do them well, and we don’t sub out the parts we’re paid to do. If it’s on the outside of your house and it protects it from weather, we can help you fix it, replace it, or improve it.
Roofing — Commercial and Residential
We install and replace asphalt shingle roofs, metal roofs, and flat commercial roofing systems including EPDM rubber and TPO. Every job starts with a full inspection, a written estimate, and a walk-through of what we found — decking condition, ventilation, flashing, and any storm damage that might qualify for an insurance claim.
Residential roofing: Architectural shingles from GAF and Owens Corning are our most common install. We tear off to the deck (never overlay), replace any rotten sheathing, upgrade ice-and-water shield in valleys and eaves, and re-flash penetrations. A typical single-family reroof takes one to two days depending on complexity and pitch.
Commercial roofing: Flat-roof work on apartment buildings, small retail, and industrial properties. We’re currently active on EPDM projects in the Cincinnati area, including full tear-off and re-lay with tapered insulation, new perimeter metal, and manufacturer-warranted seams. If you own a building with a leaking flat roof, we can bid the repair or full replacement — including phased work if you need to spread the cost across multiple buildings or years.
Storm and insurance claims: We handle the adjuster process on hail and wind claims. If your roof was hit in the last storm, we’ll do a free inspection, document the damage with photos and measurements, and work directly with your insurance company so you’re not caught in the middle.
Siding — Residential
Vinyl siding, board-and-batten, LP SmartSide engineered wood, and manufactured stone veneer. Full house wraps and partial re-sides both. We also handle soffit, fascia, and trim as part of the job — no leaving a mismatch between what the siding crew touched and what got left behind.
Vinyl siding is still the most cost-effective option for most homes in our area. Modern vinyl profiles look nothing like the wavy panels of the ’90s — insulated backer, matte finishes, and dutch-lap or beaded profiles that read close to painted wood from the curb. We install James Hardie composite when a homeowner wants the look and durability of fiber cement.
Board and batten is a strong choice for accent walls, gables, and full-house farmhouse looks. We use LP SmartSide’s pre-primed vertical panels or engineered wood battens depending on the design.
Stone veneer — cultured or natural — for foundations, wainscoting, columns, and full-height accent walls. We do the substrate prep, weather barrier, lath, and mortar work in-house.
If your siding is faded, cracked, warped, or letting water into the wall assembly, we’ll come out, do a moisture check, and tell you honestly whether you need a full replacement or a targeted repair.
Gutters — Commercial and Residential
Seamless 5-inch and 6-inch aluminum gutters, formed on-site so there are no joints between corners. Downspouts sized for your roof area — most homes need 3×4-inch downspouts, not the 2×3-inch that most tract builders default to.
Gutter installation: New construction and full replacement. We size the system to the square footage of your roof, not just “one downspout per corner.” Larger roofs and steeper pitches move more water and need more capacity.
Gutter guards: Reverse-curve helmets, screen-style guards, and micro-mesh options depending on the tree cover and debris load on your property. We’ll walk you through the trade-offs — micromesh handles the finest debris but costs more; screen guards are cheaper but need to be brushed off after fall.
Repair and pitch correction: Old gutters that don’t drain properly are often just pitched wrong or hung on rotted fascia. We can re-hang existing gutters if they’re still in good shape, or replace fascia and reset the whole system if the wood behind them is gone.
